A final project for illustration, which I hope is working compositional. I ... just played with various brushes the whole time and couldn't say which I used. The narrative is an evil sorceress, Manalia (working name) and her stag creature Xi (who she rides around on) are deep in a lush forest, land that the sorceress just acquired in her rule. To make the environment suit her fancy, Manalia uses a bit of dark magic to slowly kill the peaceful landscape.

Did this mainly because I need more environments in my portfolio. Ah well, good practice I suppose.
